New Year’s baby 

The Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC) has welcomed its first newborn of 2022.

Sioux Lookout residents Rachel Auld and Cal Zaffino proudly welcomed the arrival of their daughter Ashaya Zaffino on Jan. 4 at 3:58 a.m. 

Ashaya weighs 3.62 kilograms (eight pounds) and is 50 centimetres (19.7 inches) long.
