A hotter, dryer July in Sioux Lookout

A slightly warmer than average July in Sioux Lookout this year with below normal rainfall according to Environment Canada.

Meteorologist Gerald Cheng said that the average mean temperature recorded in Sioux Lookout for the month of July was 19.4 degrees Celsius. The long-term average temperature is 18.9.

Cheng said Sioux Lookout received 61.5 millimetres of precipitation in July, with the historic average for the month being 97.3.
