Annual fall volleyball tournament supports Sioux North volleyball program

Eight teams participated in the Second Annual Sioux North Fall Volleyball Tournament on Sept. 21, which raised $560 for the volleyball program at Sioux North High School (SNHS).
The Talbots Raiders defeated the Gym Class Heroes to win the tournament. The Talbots Raiders donated their prize money to the SNHS volleyball program.
Athletes from both SNHS and Pelican Falls First Nations High School participated in the tournament.
Organizer Duane Ogemah shared the purpose of the tournament is to not only raise money for the volleyball program, but to also give students additional playing time as high school league play begins.
