Arson charges laid by LSPS following fires at home, business

Lac Seul Police Service (LSPS) arrested and have charged a 40-year-old Lac Seul First Nation resident following two fires which took place in Frenchman’s Head on Dec. 4.
On Saturday, Dec. 4, police say a home in Frenchman’s Head was set on fire with gasoline.
Later that evening, police say a business in Frenchman’s Head was also set on fire with gasoline.
“Fortunately the damage was minimal and no injuries were reported,” police shared.
Both incidents were investigated by the Lac Seul Police Service and two arson charges were laid.
