Charges laid following house fire in Frenchman’s Head

A Frenchman’s Head resident has been charged following a recent house fire in that community.
Lac Seul Police Service shared in a September 2 media release, “On Sunday August 29, 2021 the Lac Seul Police Service and the Lac Seul Fire and Emergency Service attended a house fire on Hank’s Rd. in Frenchman’s Head. The home was fully engulfed in flame and was completely destroyed.”
Police reported that no one was injured during this incident.
On September 1, as a result of their investigation into this incident, the Lac Seul Police Service arrested and charged an 18-year-old Frenchman’s Head resident with: Arson Damage to Property- Criminal Code Section 434 and Mischief Over $5000- Criminal Code Section 430(3).
