Correction 

In our May 26 story: Collaborative project to better respond to mental health and addictions-related police calls, the story should have stated that Health Canada’s Substance Use and Addictions Program (SUAP) grant is funding two programs – a Mobile Crisis Response Team (a partnership between OPP and CMHA-Kenora) and a Mobile Outreach team (a partnership between SLFNHA and NWHU).

SLFNHA has hired two councillors, who are working full-time with the Mobile Outreach team. 

The Crisis Response Team has one mental health worker hired (through CMHA-Kenora), and are still actively recruiting for a second position.
