Craft and bake sale at Lost Lake Drop in Centre
A steady stream of visitors attended the Lost Lake Drop In Centre in Hudson on Oct. 22 to check out a craft and bake sale taking place that day.
Knitting, bannock, jam and jewelry were just some of the items available for sale.
The Lost Lake Thrift Store, which operates out of the Drop In Centre, was also open during the event.
The thrift store, which opened earlier this summer, offers some food and beverage items as well as some donated clothing for sale.
The thrift store is currently operating Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings from 7 - 8:30.
A food pantry has also been added to the Drop In Centre.
People can keep up to date on what is happening at the Drop In Centre by visiting Lost Lake Drop In Centre on Facebook.
Kathy Storey, who coordinated the craft and bake sale with her daughter Krista Storey added, “We’re trying to get it back as a Drop In Centre where people come out and sit and have cup of coffee. We’re working towards that.”
