A spring adventure
Two years ago my dog Grace and I set out to spend spring breakup at our remote camp a few miles down the lake from Sioux Lookout.
I expected to be stranded there for three or four weeks, enjoying the wonders of spring blossoming all around us as we sat out the short term covid lockdown of the time.
Time stretched to six weeks in isolation before the ice gave way so we could go home. Covid had the world locked tighter than it had been before.
It was a very exciting time. I wrote a book of thoughts and photos, entered every day. A copy is living in the Sioux Lookout Public Library.
