Dancing with the moon

Twilight is exquisite!
On a weekend afternoon I danced for a few hours with the fresh developing moon, thin, bright, crisp and delicate, rising at mid-morning in the sky over Pelican Lake and setting in the western forest soon after sundown.
The waning days of summer were so bountifully highlighted by glistening sun and balmy temperatures that the shining crescent couldn’t be seen in the mid-day sky.
The approach of night coaxed beauty from hiding and sang a sweet song to the dancers still swaying to the music.
