Dick's Hideaway:
Mixed Feelingsville

In the morning we will be peering out the window in the kitchen door at the steps leading up.
If the timing's not right we might spot a scavenging fox enjoying breakfast or a neighbor dog having a leak. Maybe a big black raven hopping to a happy occasion.
Mary called Fresh Market today and ordered groceries for the next few days of our quarantine. This will replace the usual view of conveyor and check out at the grocery store. We've never done anything like this, except with pizzas.
It doesn't feel comfortable. It doesn't seem right. We're not even sick.
We are a week back from vacation out of the country, halfway through a 14 day quarantine. Like you, we're learning new stuff and different behaviors. Embarrassment and guilt, for no good reason, are overwhelming.
Thanks to all the caring businesses and residents here who make this such a wonderful community of beautiful people.
