Six weeks in the bush

March 31 last year I set out with my dog Grace, pulling a small sled with a few supplies, for camp to stay until ice out.

The stay lasted 40 days... two days short of six weeks. I had supposed the Covid restrictions would be lifted and all would be back to normal by the time I was able to get to town.

Surprise!

Today I spent some time reviewing the photo book I wrote while isolated in the wilderness. Grace and I had a wonderful adventure and it was great to remember the experience. Might even do it again, but not this year.
