Conservative Party of Canada, Kenora Riding candidate Eric Melillo was in Sioux Lookout on Oct. 6, holding a meet and greet at the Sioux Area Seniors’ Activity Centre.
“It’s always great being in Sioux Lookout,” he said. “I had a great morning door knocking, which is my favorite thing to do, meeting people on their doorsteps and hearing their concerns, but having events like this is great to get everyone together, get them motivated, and be able to share our vision for the region and for the country.”
He stated, “There’s a lot of desire for change across the region. We have a government and an MP right now that’s really turned their backs on our region and we’re looking to bringing that strong voice back.”
Melillo told those gathered, “I’m excited to be your candidate in this election. I have the opportunity to bring a new generation’s voice and deliver some results for our area… We deserve stronger representation. Whether it’s for seniors, for our firearms owners, for First Nation communities, for anyone across the region that promises have been broken. That’s why it’s time for change.”
