Fall fun
Chantal Falkingham and her children Samantha and Jesse (pictured) were just some of the approximately 100 visitors who attended the Friends of Cedar Bay’s Fall Frolic on the afternoon of Oct. 6 at the Cedar Bay Stables.
For a donation, people were able to purchase pumpkins at the event, which were provided by Superstore.
Barbequed hot dogs, treats provided by Tim Hortons, an opportunity to have a family photo taken, crafting, and a bake sale were also part of the fun, family event, which also included an opportunity to visit horses staying at the stables.
Myriam Bernier, a member of the stable coop and Chair of the Friends of Cedar Bay, said the event was well attended in spite of some rainy, cool weather. “We’re happy so many people came out,” she said.
