Family Balloon Shot

Area residents and visitors were invited to shoot balloons using .22 calibre rifles or handguns during a Family Balloon Shoot on August 3. Participants had one-on-one instructions while shooting balloons in a safe and controlled environment. The event was located at a shooting range just five kilometres east of Sioux Lookout along Highway 642. Event organizers shared that the hope was to introduce people to safe shooting skills, with all levels of experience encouraged to participate.
