Fireworks show
Fireworks lit up the night sky across the bay from Farlinger Park (town beach) on August 4 courtesy of the Sioux Lookout Lions Club and Sioux Lookout Fire Department.
The 15 minute fireworks show, originally scheduled for Canada Day, had to be postponed due to rain.
Lions Club member Lisa Larsh shared, “We thought the show was phenomenal! The combinations of fireworks were beautiful and the timing was perfect. Best show to date! Lots of positive feedback on-line. I was on a boat and at the end, the applause from the beach was resounding and the boaters were quick to add in their horns in appreciation.”
She added, “We’d like to thank Fire Chief Jeremy Funk and the volunteer fire crew for all their hard work and dedication to making a terrific pyrotechnic display. We’d also like to thank the Sioux Mountain Music Festival for including us in their schedule. Finally, we’d like to thank our sponsors and all those individuals who donated to our fireworks this year.”
