First-ever Futsal Friendly

Pelican Falls First Nations High School (PFFNHS) hosted the Inaugural Futsal Friendly between the Timberwolves and the Sioux North High School Warriors on March 28.

According to ontariosoccer.net, “Futsal is the official FIFA and UEFA version of indoor 5 a side soccer and indeed the only internationally recognized small-sided game.”

The Warriors won the Friendly 10-3. The girls’ teams will be facing off in their Inaugural Friendly, hosted at PFFNHS, on April 4 at 5 p.m.

A double-header is also being hosted at Sioux North High School on April 11, starting at 4 p.m., where both the girls and boys teams will face each other again.
