Fort Severn couple wins $250,000

Fort Severn residents, and a married couple for over 30 years, Victoria and Thompson Mathews won a $250,000 prize with Instant Bingo Multiplier, earlier this month. They purchased their ticket at Fresh Market Foods. 

Victoria shared, “I was playing my ticket and told my husband, ‘If only we had got B6 – we would have been big winners.’ Then, after reviewing the numbers, I saw I missed B6 – I was so excited!” She added that she loves playing instant bingo and instant crosswords. 

Victoria said she ran into the kitchen to tell her family. “My daughter-in-law confirmed the win using the OLG Lottery App.”

The couple mentioned that they plan to share the winning with their family. “We are planning to purchase a new truck and maybe some ATV’s. We live in a small fly-in community in northern Ontario where food prices are high, so this will ensure we have what we need,” Victoria concluded. 

Instant Bingo Multiplier is a game offered by OLG, for $10 a play and a top prize of $250,000.
