Sioux Lookout solicits support for new centre

The Government of Ontario announced a new initiative called Super Build in December and Sioux Lookout is looking to get on board.

Teachers, elementary students buckle down

The strike is over and everyone is back to daily routines in elementary schools throughout the Kenora-Patricia school district. About 50 hours of classroom time was lost during the strike that lasted from Jan. 11-24 and now some of it must be made up. 

NEWS:
IFNA celebrates new office space for doctors

The Independent First Nations Alliance Physician Services celebrated its grand opening on Feb. 13 at the Zone Hospital. The main focus is to provide proper health services to First Nations People. Health Canada provided funding for the project.
