Residential schools survival gathering held at Pelican Falls
Approximately 100 survivors gathered at Pelican Falls Centre (the site of the former Pelican Falls residential school) on August 4. “It was an open forum for survivors. We wanted to give survivors the right information on how to do certain things,” stated event coordinator and residential school survivor Garnet Angeconeb.

It’s something that not many people know, but it’s something that is making a big difference for Sioux Lookout and area outdoor enthusiasts. Jeremy Funk has been a member of the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) board of directors since 2011.
