STEPHANIE Pickering (centre) assists scuba diving students July 22 at Second Sandy Beach making their first dive. Ota Hally, scuba diving instructor for Blue H20 Sports based in Vancouver, made his annual visit to Sioux Lookout last week to teach the basics, including safety, for the sport of scuba diving. His helper, Pickering, is in the process of becoming a certified instructor herself.
