Alanna Mawakeesick is well on her way to becoming what she was wanted to be since high school. She was one of two who showed up for the Mentoring for Aboriginal People (MAP) program on Nov. 5 at the Nishnawbe-Gamik Friendship Centre to see what it takes to be an OPP officer.
