Sioux Lookout airport contributes to PACE Regional Strategic Plan
Gaining momentum since getting FedNor funding in May, the three communities of Sioux Lookout, Dryden and Red Lake have established a committee to steer an Airport Marketing Strategy designed to increase revenues for the three airports to deal with increasing costs of airport operations.

Local man inducted into sports hall of fame
He describes himself as a recreational golfer now, but in times past he created a legacy that is now getting him recognition in the United States. Howard Lockhart, owner of Lockhart Air Services in Sioux Lookout, is being inducted into the Texas State University Athletics Hall of Honor for his career in basketball, both on and off the court.

Victims given better direction through new victim services program
It took the cooperation of many of the programs and resources in town to initiate an effort that now gives victims of all kinds a more secure tool to deal with their traumatizing experiences.

Cross country club kudos
The cross country club at Sioux Mountain Public School received awards Oct. 30 for their autumn inter school cross country competition. The event was held Oct. 24 at the school.
