Honouring lost soliders

Local resident Mike Starratt led a group on April 4 to put up nine new Canadian flags at memorial cairns on Lac Seul which honour nine men from Hudson who fought and died in WWII.
The memorials are in honor of Albert Edward Roden, John Pemican, James Bannatyne, Thomas Roland Mellish, William McGill Stewart, Norman Gronbeck, Harold Maurice Park, Wilson George McGuire and Paul Alfred Olson.
