Job action continues

Educators from Sacred Heart School, along with their peers from The Northwest Catholic District School Board (TNCDSB), joined OECTA (Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association) members in a one-day strike on Feb. 4.

Keewatin-Patricia District School Board (KPDSB) educators from Sioux Mountain Public School joined Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (ETFO) members from their school board and nine other school boards across the province in a one-day strike on Feb. 5, also joining ETFO members across the province in a day of strike action on 6.

KPDSB elementary schools were also closed yesterday (Feb. 11) and will be closed tomorrow (Feb. 13).

Both local school boards have been posting updates on their social media pages, as well as their websites to let parents and guardians know about future job action.
