Lac Seul Police, NAPS recruits receive badges, warrant cards at special ceremony

Four recruits of the Lac Seul Police and eleven recruits of the Nishawbe Aski Police Service officially received their badges and warrant cards at a special ceremony in Thunder Bay on Dec. 21.
The ceremony, held at the Delta Hotels by Marriot in Thunder Bay just after 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21, provided both police services the opportunity to celebrate the achievement of their recruits together.
The celebration recognized the recruit’s successful graduation from the Ontario Police College on Wednesday, Dec. 6. “They can now look forward to the next stage of their career in policing, which will have them assigned to a community and paired with coach officers for further training,” Nishnawbe Aski Police Service shared in a Dec. 22 media release.
