Lac Seul Police Service issues Methamphetamine warning

The Lac Seul Police Service are warning the public to be aware of a possible “bad batch” of meth that may be circulating in the area.
In a March 8 news release, Lac Seul Police Service shared that since Saturday, March 5, the Lac Seul Police Service had responded to several Meth related calls in the community, including two individuals who were taken to the hospital for bad reactions to the drugs.
Lac Seul Police Service shared, “We recognize that distribution and use of meth has a serious impact on community safety, and the potential to cause serious injury or death.
“Police encourage everyone NOT to use drugs due to the serious risks involved. If you plan on using drugs, ensure you aren’t alone and have an adequate supply of naloxone.”
