Ladies volleyball tournament helps support SNHS volleyball program

Ten teams participated in the Sioux Lookout 2nd Annual Ladies Volleyball Tournament on Nov. 29 and 30, which raised $590 for the volleyball program at Sioux North High School (SNHS).
Team Jurassic Pack defeated team Sweet Aces to win the tournament.
Athletes from SNHS, Pelican Falls First Nations High School, and Dryden High School participated in the tournament.
Organizer Duane Ogemah shared the purpose of the tournament is to not only raise money for the volleyball program, but to also give students additional playing time as high school league play begins for girls’ volleyball.
