QEDHS and the heart of Sioux North
Last Wednesday, I was on a majestic tour of Sioux North High School as an observer and caught up with my old teachers from the now-defunct QEDHS and saw how the new generations are shaping themselves in the world. Upon entering the school, I saw a few students walking around in the halls. I saw a few familiar faces from QEDHS, primarily teachers and education assistants. The corridors all connect and are spacious and clean. The halls look sleeker and more excellent than the halls of QEDHS, and the atmosphere is more significant. The classrooms were more outstanding than QEDHS as well. I was disappointed that I did not meet Principal Darryl Tinney or Vice-Principal Schardt, as I was hoping to tell them how much I appreciated their work. May Sioux North’s spirit carry on QEDHS’s old spirit and tradition, and may the legacy of all those great teachers from QEDHS live on forever.

I hope everyone is staying safe as flood warnings, evacuation orders, and state of emergencies remain throughout the region...
