Roundabout mess continues
Well, the mess continues… signs, signs everywhere there’s signs, blocking out the scenery, breaking our minds… do this, don’t do this, can’t you read the signs! Yes, big ugly signs come with the traffic circle. Because everyone who has been licensed but is unfamiliar with traffic roundabouts will need to be directed and taught how to properly drive through the roundabout without panicking or stressing themselves out. You see studies have proven that traffic circles actually increase accidents although they are minor and not major traffic accidents, nonetheless they increase accidents. So, the signs are meant to help prevent as many accidents as possible.
The mess of my front yard continues, though promised it would be returned to pre-construction condition, it has not. I had a beautiful lawn of lush green grass. Now I have a bunch of “dirt”. Instead of replacing my lawn with sod they came and sprinkled some grass seed which the birds and squirrels hid, promptly started snacking on.
With the coming rainy season, the dirt will wash away and come spring I will be left with a mess to fix, no doubt at my expense! The noise continues and is a noise and droning that would cause some people to go mad, perhaps even lose their minds, for there is no respite from it or the vibrations of the construction.
Move to the north they said, it’s quiet and serene, the beauty unmatched, the scenery pristine. You’ll love it here. The people are friendly and welcoming…
Pardon the language mayor and council but I call bullsh*t! I have little respect for such people as council and mayor that treat the residents of this town who pay taxes to the tune of nearly $6,000 a year like crap.
You can’t even show us the respect by putting our yard back into the condition you found it prior to construction but instead leaving us a mess to clean up and fix so we can sell our home!
