Letter to the Editor

Dear Community Members:

The Sioux Lookout Golf and Curling Club has recently launched a fundraising campaign to replace the electrical panel that supports our ice plant. The SLGCC has been an integral part of our community for more than 60 years offering curling to all ages. The sport of curling has been used to fundraise for a variety of community projects as well as giving many community youth an opportunity to compete at provincial competitions.

On behalf of the SLGCC Board of Directors, I am sending you this letter to appeal for a financial donation to assist with the costs of this project, which is quoted at approximately $40,000. 

This project has been registered with Sport4Ontario (National Sports Trust Fund), making it possible for anyone or any business making a donation to receive a tax receipt.

Donations can be made in one of the following ways:

Complete the donation form, attach your cheque and either mail it to the SLGCC at 87 Third Avenue, Sioux Lookout, ON, P8T 1G7, or contact me and I will arrange pick up. I will then submit your donation for you. Donation forms can be found at the Club on the bulletin board by the bar or by contacting me.
