Remembering Hudson Public School
I have fond memories of attending Hudson Public School, where we studied subjects such as math and geography. I enjoyed recess with my classmates as we played outdoor games in the yard. When I was a child, I loved visiting the library to read books on various topics, such as the history of the Titanic and other exciting things, including I-Spy and the Guinness World Records series. It was in Jessiman’s class - or maybe I’m mistaken - where we collected young amphibians from their aquatic habitat and housed them in jars to witness their progress into adulthood. Tricia Wilson gifted me a map of the world and the movie poster for Amelia. I still have them to this day. I cherish the memories of hot chocolate I used to enjoy as a reward for my good behaviour during winter days in Hudson. I also fondly remember the late Jennifer Fenelon and Judi-Rae Caughell & Leata Kingston.
