LSPS lay charges following stabbing in Frenchman’s Head

Lac Seul Police Service have charged a 28-year-old Lac Seul First Nation resident after being dispatched to a residence in Frenchman’s Head on Nov. 19 for a stabbing incident.
According to LSPS, Police and EMS attended and located a victim with injuries at the scene. The victim was transported by EMS to the Meno Ya Win Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
As a result of their investigation, LSPS arrested and charged Kristianna Gray with:
• Assault with a Weapon- 267(a) CC
• Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose- 88 CC
• Fail to Comply with Release Order- 145(5)(a) CC
None of the charges have been proven in court.
