Memories and Celebrations of Life:
Obituary - Avery Lianna Shaganash
July 5, 2012 - December 6, 2019
In loving memory of my baby girls, Avery. I sadly announce her passing on December 6, 2019 at the age of 7 years old. Avery passed surrounded by family and friends at the Children’s Hospital in Winnipeg, MB.
Avery Lianna Shaganash was born in Wpg, MB on July 5, 2012 at the Women’s Hospital. Although our time together was brief, I’ve come to realize that not only did she save me; she had touched numerous lives near and far. Avery was a happy child, who loved playing online games with her nephew Liam, Cousin Dakota and her friends. She also enjoyed baking with her sister-in-law Alyssa, going on summer outings; ice cream, parks and swimming. She enjoyed the quality time she got with her big brother Stephen while going for walks as well as battling it out with her other big brother Braedon. Avery also loved having movie nights with big cousins; Ariana, Hannah and Dakota. When she had alone time, Avery liked expressing herself artistically through coloring, painting and drawing. She liked her LOL’s and playing videos on YouTube to annoy her family. Getting her up for school was another story, as her sass and attitude would take over until she’d eventually give in and accept it was time for school. Avery will be greatly missed by all who knew her, as she was one amazing little girl.
Avery is survived by her mom Debbie Gray; brother Stephen Gray (Alyssa); brother Braedon Gray; nephews Liam and Jacob; sister Justine Taylor; brother Blake Taylor; brother Lewis Bunting; sister Shaye Bunting; niece Zoey Taylor; Nana Joanne Taylor; her best friend/cousin/sister Dakota Gray; as well as numerous Aunt’s, Uncles and Cousins.
She was pre-deceased by her dad Ross Shaganash; brother Brandon Gray; sister Kerri-Lynn Bunting; kokum Stella Gray; shomis Percy Gray Sr.; and Great kokum Marie Taylor.
