Celebrating 25 Years of Excellent Service

The Staff & Board of Directors would like to recognize Carmelia's 25 years of dedicated service to the First Step Women's Shelter. 

 

In the last 25 years Carmelia has had a few different roles within the shelter, currently her position of Program Manager she is responsible for supervising all the frontline support workers.

Over the years Carmelia has mentored and trained many of the current and past employees, her years of experience is an asset to us all. 

Carmelia has been involved in organizing many public events in our community to raise awareness about Domestic Violence and to ensure that we continue to focus on Ending Violence Against Women & Children.

 

We would like to say thank you for your dedication and commitment to First Step Women's Shelter and all the women & children we serve.

 

Congratulations and we all look forward to working with you in the upcoming years.
