We thought of you today

We think of you in silence
We often speak your name,
Now all we have memories
And your pictures in a frame.

As we look upon her picture
Sweet memories we recall,
Of a face so full of sunshine
A smile and laugh for one and all.

Your memory our keepsake
With which we’ll never part,
In life we loved you dearly
In death we love you still,

In our hearts you hold a place
No one can ever fill.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone,

A part of us went with you
The day you went to
God’s home.
God has you safely in His keeping
But we have you
Forever in our hearts.
