Memories & Celebrations:
Obituary - Jodie Lynn Beaudoin
December 4, 1972 - May 15, 2021
Justin and Kelsie Young wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the abundance of support received from our family and friends following the loss of our Mom, Jodie Beaudoin.
Jodie was a loving Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, and friend. The most important role in her life, was being a mother to her children Justin and Kelsie who will always be her pride and joy. Jodie also shared her love with her animals, most recently, her dogs Blu and Jaxson who were always by her side.
Jodie loved her community of family and friends which she built while living her life in Sioux Lookout. She loved hanging out with her children, attending concerts and Cirque du Soliel performances, listening to music, going for long rides in her car, walking her dogs, and gardening, with a passion for Tulips. Her family and friends will never forget her kind heart, thoughtfulness, sense of humour, and strength. We will be forever thankful for all of the times that Jodie went the extra mile to be there for us as loving supporter and protector.
To all family and cherished friends your support whether through providing food, flowers, cards, messages or kind words and hugs, helped to sustain us during a very painful time in our lives.
A special thank you to Garth and Leslie Hyslop of Stone, Ashton & Wright. Jodie had another family with all of you; your generous friendship, love and support will never be forgotten.
Words can scarcely express our deepest thanks to Jodie’s medical team for their compassionate, excellent care of Jodie. Dr. Alon Altman, MD,FRCSC and Dr. Erin Dean, MD,FRCSC of Cancer Care Manitoba, Dr. Jonathan Morgan, MD,CCFP(EM)FCFP and Dr. Mary England, MD of the Meno Yaw Win Health Centre in Sioux Lookout and each of their extraordinary Nursing staffs. Thank you too to Denise Poirier of the Hugh Allen Clinic for always being there when she needed you.
Honouring Jodie’s wishes, a private family service has already been celebrated.
If friends so desire, donations may be made payable to Sioux Looks Out for Paws, through the Sioux Lookout Funeral Home, 128 Front Street, PO Box 1449, Sioux Lookout, ON, P8T 1B9.
