Men’s golf champ

Matt Gain (pictured) was the winner of this year’s Men’s Blueberry Open Golf Tournament.
Seventy-two players took part in the two day, 36 hole event, which ran August 6 and 7 at the Sioux Lookout Golf and Curling Club.
First Mining Gold was the event’s major sponsor.
Gain, who shot a 137, said it was a fantastic event.
“Good field, lots of good people, and good weather all weekend and I played well, can’t argue with that,” Gain said with a laugh. 
Gib Ariano was the winner of the second flight. Mark Greene won the third flight. Jory Ariano was the winner of the fourth flight. Dave Williams won the fifth flight.
