NorWOSSA finals rematch

The Sioux North High School boys’ hockey team will be facing the Fort Frances Muskies in a rematch of last year’s NorWOSSA (Northwestern Ontario Secondary Schools Athletic Association) boys hockey finals, which saw the Warriors win and head to OFSAA (Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations). The Warriors defeated the Beaver Brae Broncos 3-0 and 5-0 last week to sweep the best-of-three semi-final series. The Warriors will be heading to Fort Frances on Feb. 27 for game one of the NorWOSSA finals. Game two will be on March 1 in Sioux Lookout and game three, if necessary, will be back in Fort Frances on March 3.
