Ontario Provincial Police investigating death in Sioux Lookout

Sioux Lookout OPP and the OPP North West Region Crime Unit, under the direction of the Criminal Investigation Branch, are investigating an incident involving an individual with very serious injuries, which eventually led to their death. 

Police shared that on March 20 at 12:29 p.m., “Sioux Lookout OPP was dispatched to assist Northwest EMS at an apartment complex on Millar Crescent in the Municipality of Sioux Lookout. Officers located Armant Beardy, 34 years of age, who was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries. The victim later died as a result of these injuries.”

Ontario Provincial Police say the investigation is ongoing and are asking anyone who may have information regarding this investigation to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
