Sioux Lookout OPP announce annual Torch Run
The Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are hosting their annual Law Enforcement Torch Run in support of Special Olympics Ontario. This year's event will be held on July 13, 2019, at 11:00 am.
Officers invite the public to join them at Sioux Lookout Town Beach as they embark on a 5 km run / 2 km family-friendly walk. Both routes will reconvene at the Town Beach for a barbeque.
The Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run is a community based, province-wide event that sees the “Flame of Hope” carried across Ontario by members of law enforcement agencies. All funds raised through Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run events are directed into program support that directly affects all community Special Olympics Ontario programs.
