Sioux Lookout OPP recruitment events
Members from the Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) partnered with Lac Seul First Nations Police Service to attend the annual 2019 Lac Seul Career Fair on May 1st, 2019.
OPP and Lac Seul officers joined with 48 other organizations at the Lac Seul Event Centre to inspire the 400 students, Lac Seul Band Members, and other event attendees searching for their future careers. At the policing exhibit, First Nations Constable Alex Chisel joined with OPP Constables Andrea Degagne, Sara Lukinuk, and Corey Raddatz to showcase law-enforcement career options. Policing has front line and many support roles available at this time.
The OPP are always hiring. The OPP's Provincial Recruitment Day is on May 25th with over 30 recruitment events to be held across Ontario, showcasing hundreds of career opportunities. In the Northwest Region, sessions are being held in Kenora, Fort Frances, and Thunder Bay, and the event will also be livestreamed via Facebook.
