PFFNHS closes season out against Saints

The Pelican Falls First Nations High School (PFFNHS) Timberwolves closed out their court sport seasons against the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints on Feb. 11.

In a win-to-get-in game, the junior girls’ volleyball team came just short of the playoffs after losing 3-0 to the Saints in back-and-forth sets. The Saints also edged out the senior girl’s 3-0.

After a bit of a slow start, the junior boys’ basketball team clawed their way back, but fell short to the Saints 56-40. The senior boy’s lost a nail-biter, despite their solid defensive efforts against the Saints, 39-33.
