Float bridge crossing Vermillion River 1923

Photo of the float bridge that crossed the Vermilion River near North Pines in 1923. The flowing note accompanied the photo: “Enclosed you will find a picture of the float bridge over Vermilion River, date 1923, which was used to get from the North Pines mine to the North Pines C.N.R. station. The trail followed the tram line which shipped the ore from the mine to the C.N.R. track.”
