Police lay charge after investigating graffiti tagging incidents

Sioux Lookout OPP have charged a 27 year old from the First Nations Territory of Anishnawwek, Ontario following a string of graffiti tagging incidents in the Municipality.
Winston Assiniwe has been charged with Mischief Under $5,000, contrary to the Criminal Code.
A warrant has been issued for the accused's arrest.
Sioux Lookout OPP are thanking everyone who assisted with this investigation.
Police are asking anyone with additional information about these occurrences, to contact the Sioux Lookout Detachment at 807-737-2020 or 1-888-310-1122.
If people wish to remain anonymous, they may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), where they may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
