Police make arrest in break and enter investigation

Sioux Lookout OPP have charged an 18-year-old individual following a break and enter investigation.
Sioux Lookout OPP shared, “At approximately 5:30 a.m. on August 13th, OPP officers were dispatched to a report of a break and enter in progress at a business on Wellington Street. Officers were quick to arrive on scene and arrested one individual.
Police shared that during their investigation, they recovered documents essential to the business’s operations.
The 18-year-old has been charged with:
Break and Enter a place, contrary to Section 348(1)(b)
Failure to comply with Undertaking, contrary to Section 145(4)(a) (x2)
Officers are thanking the public for reporting suspicious activity in the neighbourhood. Sioux Lookout OPP also remind the public to ensure their properties are secured overnight, and that ladders or other entry tools are inaccessible.
