A Happy Mother's Day to my two grandmothers who were from Sioux Lookout, Delores Carson and Elsie Uren. Both women’s lives influenced me in a positive way. My grandmother Delores worked in the woman's abuse shelter in the Sioux... I also have chosen to work in social services... My grandmother Elsie Uren worked at IGA for so many years and I watch her be kind to every single person who came across her path…both examples to their family… I miss them both dearly and am so thankful for their lives and the beautiful community they lived in.

Oh my sweet mother in heaven. She was and still is my rock. She taught me how to be the strong woman I am today. I was blessed with a great mother. RIParadise mother Bertha. I will always have you in my heart as Mother's Day is every day for me

As a woman, I am so influenced by my mother. She shows me what it means to be a lady, a wife, a mother, and so much more. I thank God I have such an amazing woman as my mother who shows me and teaches me what it means to be a strong woman because she is one. Happy Mother’s Day, Mom.

Mother’s Day is still difficult for me with her being gone two years, but I have wonderful memories of growing up with her, the lessons she taught, the love she gave to her children and grandchildren. Happy Mother’s Day Mom, love you and miss you.

Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing mom who raised four of us on her own! She has been the rock in my life...and has been a rock star during this whole time of self-isolation and physical distancing! I love you, mom!

Happy Mother's Day to the woman who worked so hard to raise five kids with little money and a lot of ingenuity. Love you Ingrid Cummings

I remember it was almost Easter and there was an Easter Egg skirt in the store window and I really wanted it, but my Mom told me we didn't have the money to buy it and I cried. Easter morning when I got up there was a present for me. My mother had made me my very own Easter Egg skirt from scraps of old material but it was so, so beautiful...that was the kind of Mother she was. She has been gone now for 10 years and memories fade but that one will be with me forever!
