Last week we asked people if they had any words of encouragement, support, or thanks for those providing services which have been deemed essential during the COVID-19 pandemic.

I don’t live there - but am thankful for my nephew and his wife who are both working as Doctors in Sioux Lookout. May they, their family and the community stay healthy and safe during this difficult time. Thanks to all the valuable essential and supporting staff providing services that allow them to continue their work! Everyone else stay home.

Thank you to all the doctors, nurses & hospital staff, truck delivery service, Fresh Market Foods, all the takeout food services, drug stores. Emergency Services you are essential!! Police Services… Town workers- there are many more I’m sure! Thank you all for being out there!! Be safe, stay healthy!
