Question of the week:
The Sioux Lookout Bulletin is practising social distancing and has opted to get Your Perspective through social media during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Last week we asked: What events have you been enjoying during the Blueberry Festival?
Shannon Brody
I’ve been working so haven’t had much opportunity to do much, but my family really enjoyed the float plane ride over town! Also a hike to Cedar Bay to see what we could find along the trail.
Rikki Burke
We loved painting our window for the window decorating contest and Spencer really enjoyed the superhero drawing class.
Caroline Loubier
None.
Emma Bates
I enjoyed helping out with our skating club’s fish fry and rubber ducky race. And I ran in the 5K fun run with my friends.
Aubrey Bates
I was able to participate in and enjoy my first 5K run. I also helped with our skating club’s fish fry and rubber duck fundraiser. It was fun to see and hang out with our skating friends again!
Donovan McCord
We have been having fun hiding Blueberry Bert rocks, golfing in the (Junior Blueberry) tournament and the fun 5km family walk.
Ethan McCord
We have been having a lot of fun with our own event and seeing the pictures of everyone finding the rocks as well as the golf tournament.
Christopher McCord
5km walk/run and the golf tournament were my favourite!
Cherie Coulombe and daughter Alyssa Coulombe
Definitely geocaching and having a chance to do the window painting, blueberry style!
Dorothy Broderick
We have been enjoying geocaching, the Fresh Market Social Media Challenge, the Skating Club Fish Fry, the Junior Blueberry Golf, the Rotary Pancake Breakfast, the Sioux Mountain online Music Festival, the Spirit of Cedar Bay Art Contest, the Sunset Photo Contest, and of course the Speed Knitting/Crochet Contest as well as the Recreate a Photo/Scene/Art Piece Contest. It has been a very well run year in light of the challenges we are facing.
