Question of the week:
The Sioux Lookout Bulletin is practising social distancing and has opted to get Your Perspective through social media during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Last week we asked: Each year, during the opening ceremonies of the Sioux Lookout Blueberry Festival, the Rotary Club of Sioux Lookout recognizes an outstanding community volunteer with the John Alexander “Jack” McKenzie Memorial Award.
Do you have any words of thanks you would like to share with this year’s recipient, who was named on July 31, their fellow nominees, and the countless other volunteers who contribute to making Sioux Lookout a better place?
Nancy McCord
It takes a community to raise a child. Thank you to everyone who contributes to raising ours! Without volunteers, many programs and events would not happen in small communities such as ours. We appreciate you and all your hard work!
Betty Lacosse
Yes this is sure true. Without volunteers we won’t be doing this Blueberry Festival. Thank you to you all that put this together.
Shannon Brody
Thank you for all you do to make our community better for all of us!
Candice Fraser Goretzki
Thank goodness for volunteers.
