Quilt winner
Arvid Hakala (right), pictured with his wife Laurel Hakala (MGQG member), was the winner of the Material Girls Quilt Guild’s (MGQG) recent quilt raffle, which raised $2000 to continue making comfort quilts for all the chemotherapy patients at Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre. The draw for the wining ticket took place on June 11.
